NICCO Overview

The Public Interest Incorporated Association Japan International Cooperation Organization (NICCO/commonly known as NIKKO) is an NGO engaged in international cooperation, founded in Kyoto in 1979. Currently headquartered in Takatsuki City, Osaka, it carries out activities aimed at achieving the economic and spiritual independence of local people.Since its founding, NICCO has worked to support self-reliance in developing countries, assist refugees, and provide disaster relief both within Japan and internationally. To date, it has carried out activities in 26 countries and regions across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
