NICCO has operated an internship program since 1996 with the aim of developing talent active in the international community.
Interns range from students to experienced professionals. Those on six-month contracts engage in planning, operating, and public relations for fundraising events within Japan, as well as domestic projects. Those on one-year contracts participate in overseas projects after domestic training, gaining hands-on experience in international cooperation settings.
A key feature of NICCO's internship program is that interns are entrusted with specific responsibilities and tasked with carrying out their work with accountability, rather than merely performing auxiliary duties. We welcome applications from individuals who wish to work as part of the NICCO team, striving to support people in developing countries and aid the Tohoku region.
Public Relations and Event Management
Through planning and managing events such as the NICCO-sponsored Charity Intern Auction and marathon races, interns will form teams to conduct fundraising activities. They will gain practical business skills and etiquette, including team building, project progress management, budget management, public relations, and negotiation and coordination with stakeholders.
