As the cold winter season approaches, NICCO would like to inform you that we will begin a winter fundraising campaign. (Campaign period: December 15, 2023 to January 31, 2024)
Thanks to all of you, NICCO has been able to continue to provide humanitarian aid for many years, relying on everyone’s understanding and support to come to the side of people in various difficulties.
NICCO began in 1979 as the Cambodian Refugee Relief Association and has been delivering humanitarian aid overseas for 45 years.
Currently, we are maintaining our steady activities, concentrating on support efforts in Ukraine, Jordan, Afghanistan, and Gaza.
2023 was a year in which wars and disasters occurred frequently around the world, and we at NICCO realized that our ability to provide support is increasingly needed. Particularly in the second half of the year, there were military operations in the Gaza Strip and an earthquake in Afghanistan. Both are areas with which NICCO has a deep relationship and has supported them in recent years. New and urgent humanitarian assistance is also urgently needed from local partner organizations. NICCO takes this situation very seriously and is currently making adjustments and preparations with the goal of providing humanitarian assistance as early as possible that can save as many lives as possible.
The “Winter Fundraising Campaign” that we are appealing to everyone will serve as a means of relief for people in need in the areas where NICCO operates. Our motto, “Run to us. We’ll be by your side.” expresses our philosophy of rushing to people who are facing difficulties and standing by their side as they overcome their challenges.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. Your goodwill will bring warmth to the hearts of people shivering in the cold and support them as they take a step toward hope. We appreciate your participation in NICCO’s winter fundraising campaign.
