郷土色豊かなバザール　Variety of bazaar with local colors

イランの紹介 “バザール編 その1” からの続きです。
This blog entry follows -Introducing Iran “Bazaar” Part.1-. 

バザールはその土地ごとに特徴があります。例えば首都テヘランの大バザールではその土地柄、衣料品や軽工業製品、医薬品などのイラン国内の卸売の拠点として、重要な役割を占めています。また、イランの観光地として有名なエスファハーンやシーラーズのバザールにはお土産物屋さんが多いそうです。
Bazaar also has some special features that are depend on the places and regions.For example, Tehran Grand bazaar has one important role that is operating as the wholesale base of inside Iran for clothes, light industry products, and medical supplies etc., because of the location of this city.On the other hand, there are many souvenir and gift shops in the bazaar of famous sight-seeing cities such as Esfahan and Shiraz in Iran.

こちらはエスファハーンのバザールにある、土産物として人気のペルシャ更紗屋さんです。 This is a Persian Calico shop in the bazaar of Esfahan, which is popular as a gift.
